The Domaine Les 4 Vents presents the Crozes-Hermitage Rouge ‘Les Pitchounettes’, a Syrah with a fresh and crunchy taste made entirely in steel. The Domaine Les 4 Vents is passionately led by sisters Lucie and Nancy Fourel, who between 2006 and 2013 took over the winemaking legacy of the family, grape growers for three generations, ceasing the sale of grapes to large local producers and starting to vinify and market on their own. The principal grape variety of the Domaine is Syrah, the varietal symbol of the Rhône Valley that the Fourel sisters interpret in different variations, including the Crozes-Hermitage Rouge ‘Les Pitchounettes’.

‘Les Pitchounettes’ Domaine Les 4 Vents Crozes-Hermitage Rouge is a 100% Syrah from various vineyards under 20 years old, cultivated with certified organic practices integrated with biodynamic practices. The harvest is carried out strictly by hand and in the cellar the grapes are first destemmed and then fermented in stainless steel tanks for 3 weeks in contact with the skins conducted by the only yeasts present on the grapes and in the cellar environment. The maturation phase also takes place in steel, in order not to interfere with the most pure expression of the terroir.

The Crozes-Hermitage Rouge ‘Les Pitchounettes’ from Domaine Les 4 Vents has a dark purple-red color with violet reflections. The nose unfolds with intense and vivid aromas of red fruits, blueberry, and violet, enriched by hints of licorice and typical green pepper notes of the grape variety. Fresh and dynamic taste, not lacking in body, structure, and softness, characterized by fine tannins and an elegant and intensely aromatic finish. A perfect Syrah to pair with first and second courses based on white or red meats, but also to enjoy during a barbecue with lifelong friends.
