Dinavolo is a white wine macerated on the skins with an orange golden color, prouced following the ancient artisanal tradition. It is produced from white grapes and vinified in steel vats without additives. It is fresh, rich and fruity, with an intense aromatic complexity, an important minerality and light tannins

The Bianco ‘Dinavolo’ from the Emiliana winery Denavolo is configured as an orange wine with a genuine and straightforward personality, rich in charm. This small family-run estate was founded in 2005 in Travo, in the province of Piacenza, on the hills that divide the Val Trebbia from the Val Nure. Here, the owner Giulio Armani cultivates, among others, the white grape varieties Ortrugo, Malvasia di Candia Aromatica, and Marsanne, along with another unknown variety, probably a local secondary grape. The ‘Dinavolo’ is probably the most important label for the winery, made with grapes grown in the oldest vineyard named Debé, planted in 1975. In particular, for this label, the bunches from the upper part of the vineyard, those of the highest quality, are used.

Denavolo ‘Dinavolo’ Bianco is born from a blend of white grapes grown according to sustainable agronomic practices on poor and stony soils of a calcareous-clay nature, up to 700 meters in altitude, excluding the use of synthetic chemical products. After the harvest, the bunches are pressed in stainless steel tanks for spontaneous alcoholic fermentation accompanied by a prolonged skin maceration, without temperature control. Throughout the entire processing, no enzymes, additives, or oenological aids are added, and the mass undergoes no sulfitation, clarification, or filtration.

The ‘Dinavolo’ Bianco from Denavolo has a characteristic amber hue tending towards orange. Intense, rich, and pleasantly rustic the aromatic profile, defined by hints of bergamot, ripe apricot, wildflowers, balsamic herbs, and dried fruit, supported by a mineral background. On the palate, it is complex and structured, with a tantalizing fresh-salty verve that combines with the delicate tannic texture.
