The Dogliani from the Luigi Einaudi winery is a fresh and typical red from the Langhe area with a ruby red color that expresses delicate aromas of red fruits, such as currants, plums, and violets. On the palate, it is jovial and refreshing, with an aromatic almond finish.

The Dogliani is a Piedmontese red that tells the story of the evolution over time of an indigenous varietal of the region, the Dolcetto. It is indeed a grape typical of peasant winemaking traditions, which in recent years has been particularly elevated, especially in the Dogliani area, which, since 2011, has even become the subject of a transition from DOC to DOCG. The fruity aromas on the nose introduce a fresh sip, which in the finish presents the typical almond aftertaste. A label that, within the entire range produced by Luigi Einaudi, stands out as one of the flagship wines, which therefore must be tasted.

This Dogliani is made from a traditional grape for Piedmontese viticulture, the Dolcetto. The Luigi Einaudi winery cultivates it in parcels located about 350 meters above sea level, on soils characterized by a marl, clay, and limestone subsoil, with different exposures. The must obtained from the pressing phase of the grapes ferments in stainless steel containers, at a controlled temperature of 28 degrees. After 4-5 days the racking is carried out, and malolactic fermentation is completed. The final aging takes place in stainless steel tanks, where the wine remains until the spring following the harvest.

The red wine Dogliani signed by the Luigi Einaudi winery presents itself to the eye with a bright ruby color, endowed with a beautiful brightness. The fruit stands out on the nose with evident notes, also enriched by sensations reminiscent of the violet flower. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, flavorful, and round, with a sip that in the finish reveals a characteristic almond taste. A label that brings the starting varietal, the Dolcetto, to an absolute expressive level, fully expressing the most interesting aspects.
