The Dolcetto d'Alba wine is produced by Massolino with a selection of the best grapes from vineyards cultivated in the territory of the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, where the winery has been located since 1896. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 330 meters above sea level, on medium-textured soils with a strong presence of limestone. The vines have an average age of about 25 years and are trained in Guyot. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with skin maceration. The wine matures 4 months in steel containers and finishes the aging period with 4 months in bottle before commercialization.
