The homonymous grapes that compose it in purity and inspire the name of the label are manually harvested and then undergo a refinement of 6 months in steel tanks and 12 in bottle. The pale straw yellow color with greenish reflections recalls the large meadows of this area and the aromas bring to mind crunchy fresh fruit and lemon grass. The sip is agile, mineral, clean, and has a slightly bitter finish.

In a land of great reds, Erbaluce has carved out a prominent place in the landscape of Piedmontese wines, thanks to its distinctive personality. Originating from Canavese, the grape variety has adapted very well to the hilly area of Alto Piemonte, reaching levels of absolute excellence. It is a label suitable for those who love whites with good structure, capable of combining richness and aromatic persistence with a pleasant mineral freshness.
“Erbavoglio” Erbaluce from Torraccia del Piantavigna comes from grapes sourced from a 4-hectare plot located in Maretta, in the Ghemme area. The vines are cultivated in a beautiful hilly area, at an altitude between 200 and 400 meters above sea level. The predominantly alluvial soils, rich in pebbles and very draining, along with the beautiful sunny exposures, always refreshed by the winds descending from the Alpine ridges, provide the ideal conditions for the cultivation of the native Erbaluce grape, a true excellence of the territory. At the end of the harvest, which usually takes place around mid-September, the grapes are pressed very gently and the free-run juice is started on fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperature. The wine matures in steel tanks for 5 months before being bottled.
The "Erbavoglio" wine from the Torraccia del Piantavigna winery is a Piedmontese white made with a grape of great personality, capable of giving harmonious, fresh, and aromatically rich wines. It appears a light straw yellow with slight greenish reflections. The nose is intense and elegant, with aromas reminiscent of lime zest, grapefruit, lemon balm, medicinal herbs, peppermint, aromas of white-fleshed fruit, green apple, peach, and light tropical nuances. The sip is fragrant and savory, with pleasantly ripe fruity aromas, which find a perfect expressive balance in a persistent finish characterized by great freshness.
