The Etna Bianco by Pietradolce is a refined and elegant expression of the Carricante grape on the volcanic terroir of Etna. A wine fresh and vibrant, savory and citrusy, with a slender body and an agile, dynamic sip. It is a lively, direct, and immediate white, in its vertical expressive push without compromises. Born from a unique territory in the world, suspended between the peak of the volcano and the sea, the Carricante expresses all the energy and restless strength of the lava flows that traverse the incredible landscape of the Etna vineyards.
The Etna Bianco wine is produced with grapes from vineyards cultivated on the northern slope of the volcano, in the Solicchiata area, at an altitude of 800 meters above sea level. The vines are trained in the traditional bush form, on sandy loam soils, with a strong presence of volcanic skeleton, in a very sunny and bright area, with significant temperature variations and always ventilated. After the manual harvest of the grapes, which takes place around mid-October, soft pressing and fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature follow.of stainless steel at controlled temperature.
