The Etna Rosato by Tornatore is a smooth, mineral, and refreshing wine made from Nerello Mascalese grapes grown on the northern slope of the volcano. The aromatic profile is fresh and fruity, with notes of berries, citrus, melon, and white mulberries.

The Sicilian wine Etna Rosato is born from a happy intuition of the Tornatore winery, which decides to vinify in white a grape variety that is a symbol of Sicilian viticulture, the Nerello Mascalese. From this choice comes a bottle with a mineral soul, where a pleasant freshness provides a backdrop to an aromatic profile, where delicate fruity and floral nuances envelop the nose. A label ready to be tasted now, to fully enjoy its linear structure.

This Etna Rosato is made from pure grapes of one of the most important native red grape varieties in the entire Sicilian wine scene, the Nerello Mascalese. The vines of this variety grow in vineyards perched on the northern slope of Etna, using the espalier method, and the harvest takes place between the second and third decade of October. Once brought to the vinification facilities of the Tornatore winery, the grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, to cold decant; followed by alcoholic fermentation, carried out in steel containers at controlled temperature. Always in steel the wine then remains to mature on the fine lees for a period of 3 months, at the end of which the bottling operations begin.

The Etna Rosato made by the Tornatore winery presents itself to the eye with a beautiful rosé color, of good intensity. The aromas that envelop the nostrils tell of fresh notes, where fruit and citrus play a decisive role, along with delicate nuances of white flowers. On the palate, it is light-bodied, agile, and lively thanks to a mineral and savory imprint, never too pronounced but always pleasantly balanced. A rosé that is born from the slopes of Mount Etna where simplicity and fragrance are the key to a satisfying and extremely versatile drink in the kitchen.
