Etna Rosso Monteleone 2023

The Etna Rosso from the Sicilian winery Monteleone is a full-bodied and enveloping red wine that surprises with its intense fruit. Born from the union of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, it undergoes 12 months of aging in wood, which gives it special toasted sensations and good structure. The glass is cloaked in a mantle of intense ruby red, and the aromas released are those of ripe red-fleshed fruit such as plum, blackberry, and cherry. Toasted notes of tobacco and leather accompany a decisive, volcanic, and very persistent taste.
