The 'Radici' by Mastroberardino is a Fiano di Avellino from the Santo Stefano al Sole estate, from vines located at over 500 meters in height. The bouquet evokes sensations of pear and pineapple, with a finish that leans towards floral notes and hazelnut. The sip presents a good intensity, with a soft sip and beautiful freshness.

“Radici” is a Fiano di Avellino, produced by the Mastroberardino winery. This white wine, characterized by a very particular character for its type, aims to be a return to the roots. Its personality is visually summarized on the label, which reproduces a painting by Maria Micozzi present on a vault of the winery's aging caves. “Radici” is the result of the best synthesis between grape variety and terroir, harmoniously united to give something unique and exceptional. The Mastroberardino winery is one of the most historic names in Campania's wine industry and is located precisely in Atripalda, in the province of Avellino.

The white “Radici” is a pure Fiano, coming from the Santo Stefano del Sole estate, which has a South-West exposure and an altitude of 550 meters above sea level. The vineyards, with an average age of about 15 years, reside on deep, sandy-loam soil that is effectively draining and rich in mineral elements. The harvest is carried out manually in October. The winemaking process takes place in a linear and non-invasive manner, in order to preserve the characteristics of the grape as much as possible. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, while aging occurs only in bottle for a period of 3 or 4 months.

The Fiano di Avellino “Radici” by Mastroberardino is a wine with a straw yellow color. The nose reveals great complexity, articulated in varied aromas. It ranges from fruity notes of pineapple, pear, and citrus to a dried fruit reminiscent of hazelnut, but also a sweet floral trace of acacia and hawthorn. Already on the nose, it shows the depth of its pleasantness; as well as in the mouth, where an excellent taste-olfactory correspondence and perfect balance emerge. Freshness and softness are balanced, in a full and enveloping body. It finishes with a long persistence and a memory of dried fruit. “Radici” is an unmissable tasting of Campania.
