"Fiordaliso" by Cantina Roccafiore is an Umbrian white wine based on Grechetto that plays on freshness and drinkability. Fermented in steel, it develops on the nose with light and fragrant sensations of pink grapefruit, apple pulp, and white flowers. Its everyday wine essence emerges especially on the palate, where it offers a long and pleasant freshness, supported by intriguing minerality.

The "Fiordaliso" from the Roccafiore winery is a white wine from Umbria based on Grechetto di Todi, to which a small percentage of Trebbiano Spoletino is added. These are the two historically present white grape varieties in the Todi area, which give the wine a distinctly territorial profile. The exclusive vinification in steel allows for the preservation of a fruity and fragrant character of the grapes and enhances their varietal characteristics of intensity and freshness, combined with a very pleasant immediacy of drinking.

The white "Fiordaliso" is produced by the Roccafiore winery in the company estate located near Todi. The beautiful hills of the Umbrian countryside are the landscape where the vineyards of Grechetto di Todi and Trebbiano d’Abruzzo are cultivated. The lovely exposures at about 350 meters above sea level, the calcareous-clay soils, and the cool climate, with significant temperature variations between day and night, have proven ideal for bringing the white grape varieties to full maturity with good aromatic richness. The grape harvest is manual and the harvest generally takes place during the first decade of September. After the gentle pressing of the grapes, the must is fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperature using only indigenous yeasts. The wine then rests in steel for a period of 6 months and finishes the aging process with a few months in the bottle before being put on sale.

The "Fiordaliso" is a fresh and fruity white wine, whose success is due to its simple and direct expressive pleasantness. In the glass, it presents a straw yellow color with delicate golden reflections. On the nose, it expresses aromas of white flowers, wildflowers and herbs, citrus notes of pink grapefruit, apple, and plum. On the palate, it is harmonious, with a delicate fruit and a savory finish, leading the sip towards a pleasant and balanced freshness.
