The "Cuvée Royale" by Tenuta Montenisa - Antinori is a Franciacorta Brut with a creamy and elegant timbre, aged in bottle on the lees for at least 36 months. Notes of white flowers, aromatic herbs, medlar, citrus fruits, pastry elements and nuances of toasted hazelnut make up a refined and delicate bouquet. The taste is fine, harmonious and chiselled, with a thin bubble and a marked mineral freshness
The Franciacorta Brut "Cuvée Royale" from the Tenuta Montenisa of Marchesi Antinori is an elegant and complex Metodo Classico, representing the intense and mature face of the style of the Cantina di Cazzago San Martino. It is a cuvée based on Chardonnay, completed by the other two classic grapes of Franciacorta: Pinot Nero and Pinot Bianco. It is a label of good intensity and taste persistence, also thanks to a minimum period of 36 months of aging on the lees. Alongside the youthful floral and fruity notes, tertiary aromas enrich the bouquet with refined nuances, always well supported by a clear vein of mineral freshness.
The "Cuvée Royale" is a Franciacorta Brut produced at the Tenuta Montenisa, purchased by the Antinori family in the late '90s. Antinori represents a piece of the history of Italian wine and, in addition to the estates in Tuscany, also wanted to broaden its horizons with a property in Franciacorta. The estate has very ancient origins and can count on about sixty hectares of vineyards in prestigious areas of Franciacorta and the historic aging cellars, which preserve the memory of this famous brand of Franciacorta sparkling wine. The style of the wines has remained faithful to a very classic conception, referring to the concepts of finesse, elegance, and freshness. In the plots, some parcels of Pinot Bianco have been preserved, a grape that gives the wines a particular expressive harmony and a pleasant creaminess on the palate.
The Brut "Cuvée Royale" Franciacorta from the Tenuta Montenisa of Antinori is a Franciacorta that well represents the classic face of the territory and its vocation to produce high-quality sparkling wines. The blending of Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, and Pinot Bianco creates a perfect balance between structure and finesse. The grapes are vinified and fermented separately in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After a resting period of a few months, the vins clairs are blended, and the final cuvée is created. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Metodo Classico, with a sur lattes aging of 36 months. In the glass, it presents itself withlight yellow color with slight golden reflections. The perlage is fine and very persistent. On the nose, it opens with floral and citrus aromas, giving way to notes of ripe fruit, bread crust, almond, dried fruit, and pastry. The sip is intense and long, with delicate and multifaceted aromas, leading to a pleasantly refreshing finish.
