The Franciacorta Brut Vintage is born from the ingenuity of the owner Vittorio Moretti and the skilled hand of winemaker Mattia Vezzola. The Vintage Brut Franciacorta is made from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes of the same vintage grown on high hills with a South/Southeast exposure from vines older than 25 years. A part of the must ferments in small barrels of white oak for about 7 months, while the remainder in steel. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle according to the Classic Method and the aging on the lees lasts 36 months, the time necessary for the yeasts to give back everything they have "eaten". This is followed by disgorging and sealing with the classic cork and metal cage.
