Organic and biodynamicThe Franciacorta Saten by Barone Pizzini is a vintage sparkling wine aged for 36 months on the lees in the bottle. It is very elegant and has a silky and creamy texture but can also be energetic and refreshing, rich in citrus and mineral nuances.
The Franciacorta Satèn Barone Pizzini expresses all the elegance and finesse of Franciacorta. With its silky and creamy personality and its energetic and refreshing vein, it stands out as one of the flagship sparkling wines of the area.
The Franciacorta Satèn Barone Pizzini is made from a selection of Chardonnay grapes grown in the company’s vineyards and cultivated under organic farming. In the winery, they undergo soft pressing, and the must ferments in stainless steel tanks. A maturation of 6 months in stainless steel and barrique is planned, followed by the sparkling process in the bottle, according to the Metodo Classico, and a stay on the lees of 30-40 months.
The Franciacorta Satèn is a wine that, with its elegance and versatility, accompanies the entire meal, from the aperitif to fish or white meats. In the glass, it comes alive with very fine and tiny bubbles, on the nose it opens with citrus and mineral nuances. On the palate, it reveals a creamy and silky texture that caresses the senses and conquers them. The personality is energetic and lively, at times tense and very refreshing, with a long and harmonious persistence.
