The Fuori Catalogo from Montalbera is a red wine made from a blend of Barbera and Ruchè grapes, indigenous varieties from the Asti province. It is characterized by an intense ruby red color and has aromas of red currants and raspberries, with curious hints of apricot, while on the palate it is fresh and jovial, delicate and juicy with a finish of berry jam.
The “Fuori Catalogo” from Montalbera is a Piedmontese red wine with a simple and immediate profile, ready to drink. During the tasting, it is the richness of the fruit that is appreciated more both on the nose and on the palate, outlining the profiles of a satisfying label, which thanks to its linearity proves versatile in the kitchen, successfully accompanying land-based first courses, cured meats, cheeses, and cold cuts. A bottle that is always a safe choice, capable of pleasing the palate of all diners.
The “Fuori Catalogo” is produced by the Montalbera winery starting from a blend where we find Barbera and Ruchè, the latter present with 40%. The vines grow using the guyot system, and the clusters are harvested when they are in a state of slight over-ripeness. After the destemming operations, the best grapes are gently pressed, and the resulting must begins to ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature. The final aging consists of a short aging in steel, at the end of which the wine is ready to be bottled and marketed.

The small red berry fruit alternates with sensations reminiscent of freshly picked apricots, in a simple and orderly olfactory progression. On the palate, it is light-bodied, smooth, with a crunchy and tasty sip, developing with good freshness, round and enveloping; a fruity flavor consistent with the aromas perceived during the olfactory analysis is felt. A Piedmontese red perfect to drink now, which impresses with the excellent relationship proposed between the expressed quality and the final price.
