The Gewurztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva from the Alsatian winery of Aimé Stentz is a sweet wine, aromatically very dense and complex, that seduces with intense aromas and the enveloping softness of its sip. This aromatic variety, born in central Europe from a spontaneous genetic mutation of the Traminer grape, has adapted very well to the climate and soils of Alsace, where it has been cultivated for centuries with absolute excellence.

The sweet wine Gewurztraminer Vendemmia Tardiva is produced by a small family-run winery founded in the early 1900s. To the 4 hectares of the original nucleus of the company, other parcels have been gradually added, reaching the current 14 hectares, cultivated under organic farming conditions. The domaine Aimé Stentz includes 4 prestigious Grand Cru of Alsace: Rosenberg, Steingrübler, Hengst, and Sommerberg, which have always produced grapes of the highest quality. The Gewurztraminer vines are cultivated on hard and compact limestone marl soils. At the end of the manual harvest, which takes place late to allow the aromas to concentrate, the grapes are gently pressed and the free-run must ferments in stainless steel tanks. The wine matures on the fine lees for 12 months in oak barrels.
