The "Makisé" is a sparkling wine produced from Grillo grapes, according to the Charmat method, from Cantine Fina. Fresh and lively character fully expresses the peculiarities of its territory, the Trapanese. The bouquet has floral aromas with notes of orange and broom followed by flavors of sage and tomato leaves. Sapid to the sip, has a fine and lively bubble with a straw yellow color and greenish reflections

The Grillo Frizzante “Makisé”, made by Cantine Fina, is a lively, fragrant, and convivial interpretation of one of the Sicilian white grape varieties that has recently captured the attention of enthusiasts for its seductive personality. Born in the late 1800s from a cross between Moscato d’Alessandria and Catarratto, it combines the alluring and soft aromatic notes of the first with the structure and citrus freshness of the second. The sparkling version, thanks to the exuberance of its effervescence enhances the varietal aromas of the grape, making it smooth and very pleasant to drink. It is the perfect bottle to enjoy during an aperitif or to accompany seafood or vegetable appetizers.

“Makisé” is a Grillo Frizzante that originates in Contrada Bausa, in the province of Marsala. Cantine Fina owns an estate in the beautiful coastal landscape, overlooking the salt pans and the Stagnone Reserve. For generations, it has produced wines that faithfully reflect the traditions of the territory. The Grillo grapesare harvested in the company vineyards of the first hilly inland area, located a few kilometers from the coast to the north of Marsala. The climate, warm and dry, is always breezy and mitigated by sea breezes, allowing for excellent ripening of the grapes, with particularly rich and intense aromatic profiles. Once the harvest operations are completed, the grapes are gently pressed and the must is sent for classic fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is then transferred to autoclave for the sparkling process and the second fermentation, which occurs using the Martinotti or Charmat Method.
