The Veltliner by Pacherhof is an aromatic and enveloping Alto Adige white wine, obtained from vines located in the Novacella area at 600 meters above sea level and aged for a short period in large 20 hectoliter French oak barrels. It presents a straw yellow color, streaked with green reflections, and expresses citrus notes, green apple, alpine herbs, and white pepper, against a delicately spiced background.

The Gruner Veltliner signed by Pacherhof is a white wine from Alto Adige with interesting aromas, mainly fruity. The sensation that dominates the tasting is that of balance, evident in the continuation of the approach to the palate, where the sips are fresh and enveloping, characterized by a distinctive gustatory aromaticity. A perfect label to drink now, but at the same time, one can decide to let it age further in the glass for the next 3-4 years.

The Veltliner Pacherhof is born from grapes cultivated in different plots within the Valle d’Isarco, a place where the winery has always taken root. We are in a terroir located not far from Novacella, at about 600 meters above sea level, enjoying a steep southern exposure, with a subsoil where sand, gravel, and clay alternate. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes ferments at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The final aging phase takes place for a short period in large oak barrels with a capacity of 20hectoliters. After this short maturation, the wine is ready to be bottled.

The Gruner Veltliner produced by the Pacherhof winery presents itself to the eye with a bright straw-yellow color, characterized by some slight reflections slightly tending towards greenish. The fruit on the nose is tinged with different olfactory nuances – even exotic – enriched by light touches that recall spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied, with a very refreshing aromatic sip, characterized by a nice roundness. It finishes with a finale endowed with excellent persistence. A bottle that tells the story of the gentle slopes that characterize the Valle d’Isarco, particularly suited for the production of quality white wines.
