Guidobaldo bottle-fermented wine from the Tenuta Ca' Sciampagne winery in the Marche region is a semi-sparkling red wine that is perfect with light meats and cured meats. This label is made with red grapes harvested by hand, a maceration of 5 months on the skins and the use of only indigenous yeasts. The colour is an intense, almost impenetrable ruby red, while the aromas released are reminiscent of ripe plums and sour cherries. The taste is full, vinous, tannic with a slightly bitter finish.

The ‘Guidobaldo’ Bottle Fermented represents a lively sparkling red wine produced by Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne, a certified organic producer in the Montefeltro area, just a few kilometers from Urbino. The winery was established in 2008 through the recovery of three hectares of old vineyards, to which six hectares of new plantings have been added, all managed with the utmost respect for tradition, the land, and consumers. In a context that enjoys the fresh mountain breezes from the nearby Apennines, as well as significant daily temperature fluctuations, artisanal and sincere expressions are born, packaged with original labels that evoke the back of postcards.

Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne ‘Guidobaldo’ Bottle Fermented is made from Sangiovese grapes, cultivated according to the principles of certified organic farming on clay-limestone soils rich in minerals. The harvest is done by hand with meticulous selection, and the subsequent alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously in steel tanks thanks to only indigenous yeasts. The skin maceration lasts even for 5 months, while refermentation takes place in the bottle following the Ancestral Method. Throughout the entire winemaking process, the liquid undergoes neither clarifications nor filtrations.

To the eye, ‘Guidobaldo’ Bottle Fermented by Tenuta Ca’ Sciampagne shows an intense ruby red hue. The aromatic spectrum is full and rich, defined by notes of sour cherry combined with nuances of ripe plum and red flowers. On the palate, it is dry, tannic, and harmonious, with a slightly bitter finish. A pure and singular sparkling red, manifestation of a spontaneous and genuine production philosophy. Due to its characteristics, ‘Guidobaldo’ pairs splendidly with various cold cuts and cured meats.
