Habemus - Etichetta Rossa is a Cabernet Franc from Alto Lazio with a mature, concentrated, and rich profile, the result of a long aging of 30 months in barrique. On the nose, it reveals a wide and layered bouquet, composed of notes of ripe berries, sweet spices, spirit-soaked cherries, dried plums, and hints of wood and coffee. On the palate, it unveils a voluminous and elegant structure, broad and robust, with great character.

“Habemus - Etichetta Rossa” by San Giovenale is a Cabernet Franc endowed with unimaginable power and concentration, an incredibly rich red with immense persistence. When it comes to wines that cannot leave one indifferent and that require just a sip to remember them vividly, one cannot help but think of Habemus Rosso, an unusual viticultural expression from Alto Lazio. After all, the hand, or rather the mind, behind this wine is that of Marco Casolanetti, a winemaker known for creating wines such as Kurni and Kupra, an absolute reference point in Italy for those in search of explosions of fruit and tasting concentration. High planting density, overripe grapes, and healthy viticulture allow for the production of true unicum from the 10 hectares of vineyards in the province of Viterbo, to be tried at least once in a lifetime.

The Habemus Etichetta Rossa wine is made from pure Cabernet Franc grapes, coming from a vineyard of just one hectare, cultivated in bush form and only 11 years old. The extreme limitation of yields and the abandonment of any chemical or synthetic substances, allow for the production of grapes rich in matter and extracts, but perfectly healthy and vital enough to allow spontaneous alcoholic fermentation with 15 days of maceration on the skins. The liquid then ages for 30 months in barrique before being bottled.

The Rosso Hambemus presents itself in the glass with a garnet red color, compact and concentrated. The olfactory impact is disarming in its complexity and richness of suggestions, ranging from bitter cocoa to ripe plum, from roasted coffee to clove, from underbrush to vanilla beans. Sweetness and fruit are the leitmotif that also marks the sip, which proves to be powerful and comforting, as well as endowed with a persistence that is difficult to quantify. Cannon shot.
