The Kerner from Cantina Valle Isarco is a mountain white wine with a fresh and slightly spicy sip. Aged in steel for a few months, it reveals a delicate and fresh bouquet with aromas of nutmeg, white pepper, aromatic herbs, citrus, white fruit, and mountain flowers. On the palate, it is marked by a lively freshness that makes the sip agile and smooth.

The Kerner from Cantina Valle Isarco is one of the most famous and appreciated labels of this beautiful production reality in Chiusa. It is a grape variety capable of producing wines with good structure, rich and intense fruity aromas, accompanied by delicate notes of spices. It is a vine that needs altitude and a cool climate to maintain a good balance between richness and freshness. In about a decade, it has become one of the whites with the most personality and among the most loved by enthusiasts of semi-aromatic grape varieties.

The Kerner wine from Cantina Valle Isarco is the result of a small cooperative of local winemakers, who in the early '60s decided to join together in a common project. Today Eisacktaler Kellerei manages 150 hectares of 130 winemakers, producing wines of excellent quality and with an authentically territorial profile. The Kerner vineyards are located in the highest part of the Valle Isarco vineyard, at an altitude between 600 and 900 meters above sea level, on soils made up of stony, morainic, and alluvial soils, rich in diorite and quartz. The splendid sunny exposures allow for excellent ripening of the grapes with strong temperature swings between day and night. After the gentle pressing of the bunches, the must ferments in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature and the wine matures on the fine lees for a few months before being bottled.

The white Kerner from Cantina Valle Isarco is one of the wines that has made the fortune of this narrow alpine valley that rises from Bolzano towards the Brenner. Despite its small size, it represents one of the territories of Alto Adige that expresses the most interesting and rich whites in personality. In the glass, it presents a light straw yellow color with brilliant reflections. The bouquet is characterized by a beautifully intense aromatic profile, with notes of ripe fruit, citrus peel, hints of exotic fruit and nuances of soft oriental spices. Enveloping and with good structure, it seduces the palate with a rich and broad sip that renews the juicy richness of the fruit, well balanced with a dry, fresh, and savory finish. To be tried with spicy dishes from Eastern cuisine.
