The Lagrein from Colterenzio is a typical and pleasant expression of South Tyrol, matured in cement and wood for a few months. The bouquet is centered on fruit wrapped in spicy puffs and small touches of chocolate. The taste is balanced and fresh, showing great versatility with various dishes of Italian cuisine.

This Lagrein wine made by the Colterenzio winery is a balanced and harmonious red, with no rough edges. Lagrein, an important indigenous grape variety from Trentino Alto-Adige, finds the ideal conditions for optimal growth in the vineyards of Colterenzio, resulting in a quality product with a fresh and drinkable sip, perfect for both simple occasions and more formal celebrations. A bottle that also impresses with its excellent quality-price ratio, representing an opportunity not to be missed.

The Lagrein from Colterenzio is made from the pure use of the indigenous grapes of the Trentino Alto-Adige region. The team at Colterenzio winery is very careful during the harvest phase to select only the best grapes, in order to offer an authentic representation of the terroir of origin. The grapes, once harvested and brought to the winemaking facilities, macerate for 8 days on the skins in steel, fermenting and also undergoing malolactic fermentation. The aging phase then takes place, which lasts for a few months both in cement tanks and in large wooden barrels. Once maturation is complete, the wine is ready to be bottled.

The red Lagrein announces itself in the glass with a color reminiscent of garnet, particularly intense. The aromas that surround the nose develop around notes of black berry fruit and flowers, from which emerge light spicy touches. On the palate, it is full-bodied, round, with a sip characterized by a pleasant freshness, making the drinking experience fine, subtle, and elegant; it finishes with a finish that has good persistence. The Colterenzio winery gives us a bottle that pairs well with dishes based on red meat and game.
