Lambrusco 'Puro!' Fangareggi

The Lambrusco "Puro!" from the Emilia-based winery Fangareggi is a sparkling wine with a typically territorial face. It perfectly represents the tradition, both in the use of the indigenous red grape variety Lambrusco Salamino and in the type of wine, lively and fragrant. It is a Metodo Charmat that enhances the typical fruity bouquet of Lambrusco, its joyful and immediate drinkability, making it particularly suitable to enjoy with a platter of tasty cured meats from the region.

The sparkling wine Lambrusco "Puro!" is produced by a young reality of the Emilia territory. The Cantina Fangareggi was founded in Correggio in 2013, with the desire to give an entrepreneurial face to the family tradition of producing Lambrusco, passed down from generation to generation. The initial core of vineyards, located in the countryside of Canolo, near Correggio, has been joined over the years by plots in Campagnola, Rolo, Fabbrico, Correggio, and Carpi, bringing the total area of vineyards to as much as 24 hectares. All the vineyards are managed with manual labor and the company, despite having grown a lot, has preserved the artisanal face of the initial project, precisely with the intent to continue producing genuine and straightforward wines that are a faithful mirror of the oldest traditions of the territory. After the manual harvest, a cold maceration of the grapes is carried out, followed by fermentation in steel at controlled temperature. The subsequent prise de mousse and second fermentation take place in autoclave according to the Metodo Charmat.

"Puro!" from the Cantina Fangareggi is a lively sparkling wine that directly expresses the characteristics of the lively Emilia Lambrusco. A wine of tradition, which has always been a protagonist of the tables and gastronomy of these generous lands. It presents itself with a bright ruby red color and a light and delicate foam. On the nose, it expresses floral aromas, cherry notes, wild strawberries, wild fruits, and light spicy nuances. The attack on the palate is lively and energetic, with a crunchy and juicy fruit, which pleasantly accompanies the sip towards a finish savory and of great freshness.
