“Rubino del Cerro” is the Lambrusco from Reggio selected by the Venturini Baldini winery. It is made from the varieties of Lambrusco Montericco, Salamino, Grasparossa that grow on sandy and clayey soils in the hills of Roncolo, in the province of Reggio Emilia. The winery, active for several years in the market with expressive and characterful wines, has converted to organic farming in recent years, adopting a sustainable and respectful agriculture for the land.
The Lambrusco vines grow at an altitude of 240 meters on gentle hills that have found in this fantastic territory the perfect microclimate to express their potential. The wine is produced according to the long Charmat method and vinified in steel, so Venturini Baldini wants the grapes to express all the varietal aromas that can be savored by chewing a grape berry.
