The Lugana Superiore from Ca' Lojera is a white wine aged for 24 months in oak barrels, featuring a complex aromatic bouquet: ripe fruit accompanied by citrus, hints of broom, and notes of hydrocarbons with typical minerality. Savory and velvety

The Lugana Superiore by Ca’ Lojera is a white wine that does not want to hide its ambitions, but rather, it aims to present itself with the confidence that characterizes bottles of character. Specifically crafted to embody a “superior” profile within its denomination, it is aged in wood both to enhance its aromatic offerings on the nose and to further develop its aging potential. A white that loves to challenge the passage of time, perfect as an investment for future drinking.

This Lugana Superiore by Ca’ Lojera is made from Trebbiano di Lugana grapes, locally known as turbiana. We are on the shores of Lake Garda, more precisely in the vineyards owned by the winery that surround Sirmione, a terroir mainly composed of white clay. The must obtained from pressing the selected grapes ferments in wooden barrels, with frequent bâtonnage. The final maturation phase follows, during which the wine rests for 24 months in barrels of oak with a capacity of 25 hectoliters.

The white Lugana Superiore by Ca’ Lojera presents itself to the eye with a straw-yellow color, characterized by slight golden flashes, intermittently visible in the glass. The array of notes that envelops the nostrils develops on a concentrated weave, where flowers alternate with well-ripened fruit and varied mineral and spicy hints. On the palate, it has excellent body, flavorful and satisfying thanks to a enveloping sip, from which a savory taste emerges; a particular astringency is noted on the finish, which, however, does not disturb the drinking experience, but rather makes it originally pleasant. A label that is conceived by the winery's ownership to be long-lived, and which can therefore be consumed even in a couple of years, without showing any signs of yielding.
