LUGANA SUPERIORE 'MOLIN' CÀ MAIOL 2022 DESCRIPTION

Cà Maiol's Lugana Superiore "Molin" tells the story of the appellation, which has always been a point of reference for viticulture in the Garda area, in an impeccable manner. The aromas are typical of the varietal, as is the taste, which presents itself with that savoury note that so well describes the typicality of the wines made in this area. There is also a pleasant, refreshing atmosphere that makes the drinking experience even easier. A bottle of excellent workmanship, undoubtedly deserving of a place in the cellar of fans of northern Italian white wines.

Molin" is a Lugana Superiore DOC that comes from the grapes of Turbiana, the name given to the Trebbiano di Lugana near Lake Garda. The grapes are carefully selected by Ca' Maiol from vines with an average age of 35-40 years. The berries, cooled to 10°C, are softly pressed, and cold static decantation is carried out to obtain a greater concentration of aromas in the final product. The must then ferments in steel, at a controlled temperature. Final ageing takes place for 9 months in stainless steel on the fine lees, until the wine is ready to be bottled and put on the market.

This Lugana Superiore "Molin" Cà Maiol presents itself visually with a straw-yellow colour, endowed with a pleasant luminosity. The range of aromas surrounding the nose moves on subtle and never intrusive touches, flowing on mainly fruity notes, with a hint of lavender. On the palate, it is light-bodied, with a mouthfeel characterised by good freshness and a flavour that oscillates between savoury and fruity. Energy and a lively temperament make this bottle the perfect star of any table.
