The Malvasia by Il Carpino is a well-structured and full-bodied white wine, vinified in red with long maceration, vinified and aged in oak barresl for 12 months. It has rich and intense scents of dried fruit, honey and yellow fruit in syrup. The taste il warm and full-bodied, smooth and complex. Wines made with Old Style Artisanal Methods

The Malvasia signed by Il Carpino is a sensual and enveloping orange wine, which despite its powerful engine stands out for its finesse and cohesion. A magical strip of land that separates Italy from Slovenia, undoubtedly destined for the production of some of the best skin-macerated whites in the world, and made great by a group of producers who have been able to enhance it. To these wineries, we can confidently ascribe that of Carpino, a splendid reality that, although less publicized than others, has been producing great territorial wines since 1987. 16 hectares of vineyard where typical local grape varieties such as Malvasia, Ribolla, and Friulano find space, along with other international varieties that have now become an integral part of the place, such as Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The liquids combine power and finesse, accurately capturing one of the sub-zones most loved by wine enthusiasts.

The wine Malvasia Il Carpino is obtained from pure grapes of the same name, coming from old vines trained in guyot on marl and sandy soils exposed to the southeast and from extremely limited yields. In the vineyard, a cautious interventionist approach is adopted, trying not to overpower the natural expression of the place. In the cellar, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation takes place in Slavonian oak barrels with prolonged maceration for a week. The liquid ages for 12 months in large barrels, 11 months in steel, and another 12 in bottle.

Malvasia Il Carpino lights up the glass with its intense golden hue, bordered by orange reflections. Evocative and deep nose, with a wide breath, where clear hints of syrupy apricot, medicinal herbs, honey, and cinnamon stand out. The sip is filling and soft, but like all great wines, it balances the sweetness of the fruit with a precise salty contribution. Definition of an author wine.
