The Malvasia Istriana by Muzic is a fresh, soft, rich, and mineral white wine, born from old vines of at least 60 years of age and vinified in steel with short skin maceration. It has an expressive and generous personality, dotted with notes of white fruit, exotic hints, and fresh aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is round, savory, and citrusy, with vigorous freshness.

The Malvasia signed by Muzic is a true hymn to old vines. We are indeed talking about a label that, assembled 100% from Malvasia Istriana, comes to life from vineyards whose average age exceeds 60 years, reaching up to plants that are around 80 years old. Historic vines therefore, where yields are low but the aromas are intense, as can be felt from the very first moments when the wine is poured. A bottle where the sip becomes easy-drinking thanks to a pleasantly fresh texture, ideal for accompanying various dishes of Italian cuisine, especially those where fish is the main ingredient.

This Malvasia is born from the pure use of grapes from the homonymous vine, which, within the Istrian terroir, finds one of its natural habitats. The vineyards where the vines of this variety are grown have an age ranging from 60 to 80 years, and their roots sink into a predominantly marl subsoil. The grapes, carefully selected by the Muzic winery team during the harvest, are destemmed and pressed, followed by a skin maceration that lasts for 12 hours at a temperature of 15 degrees. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel containers, for a period of 8-10 days. We then proceed with the aging, carried out in steel on the fine lees for 8 months.

The Malvasia of Muzic reveals itself, in the glass, with a bright and intense straw yellow color that entices the eye. The olfactory spectrum tells of notes where fruit dominates, also expressed with exotic nuances, enriched by Mediterranean touches of aromatic herbs. On the palate, it is full-bodied, enveloping, with an elegant sip, characterized by decidedly refreshing savory notes. A label with which the winery achieves excellent quality standards, as can also be noted thanks to the excellent scores awarded to it by the main Italian sector guides.
