The Merlot from the Casalforte winery is a red wine from Veneto, where this international grape variety finds fertile ground to express itself with intensity and enveloping character. The nose releases intense hints of blackberry and black cherry, with nuances of dark chocolate and cloves, hints that betray its ageing in oak. On the palate, it is structured and balanced, with strong tannins and plenty of juice. Ideal with pappardelle pasta with wild boar ragù
