'Mon Blanc' Les Cretes

The "Mon Blanc" from the Aosta Valley winery Les Cretes is a fresh and young wine, with a straightforward, immediate sip and a very pleasant drinkability. It is made with a selection of grapes from indigenous and international white grape varieties, cultivated in the vineyards of the estate. The entire winemaking process takes place in steel, in order to preserve the fragrant, floral, and fruity face of the primary aromas of the grapes. It is the classic mountain white wine, characterized by a delicate and subtle profile, perfectly expressing the characteristics of freshness of the alpine terroir.

The white "Mon Blanc" is a very pleasant wine, representing the gateway into the world of Les Cretes. The Aymavilles winery has now become an essential reference point for the wines of the Aosta Valley. Established in the late '80s, it now manages about twenty hectares divided into various parcels in the municipalities of Saint Pierre, Aymavilles, Gressan, Sarre, Aosta, and Saint Christophe, predominantly cultivated with: Petite Arvine, Fumin, Chardonnay, Pinot Nero, Syrah, Cornalin, and Premetta. The cool and always ventilated and the significant temperature fluctuations between day and night allow for the harvesting of very fragrant grapes with rich aromas. The white grape varieties are cultivated on gravelly and sandy soils of morainic origin, at an altitude of between 500 and 700 meters above sea level.

The "Mon Blanc" wine from Les Cretes is a white of great territorial typicity, bringing into the glass the freshness and aromas of the magnificent terroir of the Alps. In the glass, it presents a pale and brilliant straw-yellow color. The bouquet is delicate, with floral scents and wild mountain herbs, citrus aromas, white fruit, and hints of exotic fruit. On the palate, it is lively and savory, with expressive fruit and a pleasantly refreshing finish.
