The Moscato Secco by Angiuli is a light and fresh Apulian white wine but rich in fruity and floral aromas, vinified and aged in steel. Its aromas evoke apricot, sage, and mint; on the palate, it reveals a beautiful freshness, along with a good intensity and persistence of aromatic notes.

Donato Angiuli Moscato Secco ‘Maccone’ is a white wine from Puglia, coming from the Murgia barese area, characterized by an exceptional quality/price ratio. This label belongs to the ‘Maccone’ line, a selection that encompasses expressions with a strong and sincere personality, just like the unique man it pays homage to, who worked for several years in the vineyards and cellar of the Donato Angiuli estate. The Moscato Secco ‘Maccone’ is produced exclusively in particular vintages when the climatic conditions allow for the creation of an aromatic dry white wine, endowed with freshness and sapidity.

The Moscato Secco ‘Maccone’ by Donato Angiuli is made exclusively from Moscato Bianco grapes grown on clay-limestone soils. The harvest is carried out strictly by hand in boxes during the early hours of the morning, and the bunches are then subjected to a cold maceration of 48 hours, after which the destemming and pressing of only the free-run must takes place in steel tanks at controlled temperature.controlled. After a few months of aging always in steel, the wine is finally bottled and marketed the following month.

The ‘Maccone’ Moscato Secco Donato Angiuli has a pale straw yellow color with delicate golden hues. Aromatic nose with scents of apricot, sage, and mint, accompanied by pleasant floral notes. Dry, light, and fresh on the palate, where the decisive and persistent sapidity supports the beautiful aromatic intensity and the soft body. The finish emphasizes pleasant sensations of sage and citrus. Due to its peculiar aromatic vein, this white wine can accompany dishes from Eastern cuisine, as well as various preparations based on fish, shellfish, and mollusks.
