The Nebbiolo d'Alba "Mompissano" by Cascina Chicco is a red produced in the surroundings of Canale, the village of origin of the winery. After a long fermentation in steel, to maximize freshness, it fully develops malolactic fermentation in tonneaux where it remains for more than a year. On the nose, the crunchiness of red fruits, the liveliness of licorice, and the fragrance of vanilla stand out: an energetic and fresh wine from the very first approach. The sip shows remarkable complexity, ideal for pairing with spicy stews or well-aged cheeses.
