The Nebbiolo d'Alba Valmaggiore from the Piedmontese winery Mario Marengo is an elegant and balanced red wine that takes its name from the homonymous production area. Its vineyards indeed grow in one of the best crus of Roero, after manual harvesting and vinification maturing in wooden barrels for more than 10 months. The intense ruby red color accompanies intense aromas of red berry fruits, currants, raspberries, herbal notes, and sweet oriental spices. The palate is medium-bodied, fruity, mineral with an excellent savory and persistent finish
