The Negroamaro Rosato “Zinzula” by Masseria Altemura is born in the heart of Salento, where the warmth of the land and the winds from the two seas nurture the growth of Negroamaro, the absolute protagonist of this wonderful patch of Apulian land. It is worth noting the choice of glass closure that prevents any type of oxygen transfer inside the bottle, keeping the wine's aromatic characteristics unchanged over time.
“Zinzula” Negroamaro Rosato Masseria Altemura keeps its secret in the soil where the grapes grow and thrive: red Salento soil rich in limestone, the main architect of this wine's saline strength. Once the harvest is done, the work moves to the modern and technological winery inaugurated in 2012, where the grapes are pressed and delicately pressed without contact with the skins, following the so-called "lacrima" technique. This is followed by fermentation in steel with 4 months of aging on fine lees.
