The Nobile di Montepulciano by La Braccesca is a full-bodied and seductive wine, aged for 12 months in large cask. On the nose, it is a symphony of berries, roses, and black pepper on a woody background. On the palate, it is soft and elegant, balanced and pleasantly savory.

The Nobile di Montepulciano signed by La Braccesca, owned by the Antinori family, is an elegant and incisive version of Sangiovese. In this red wine, the determined and strong character typical of this grape variety coexists with the trait of material softness and fattiness of Merlot, which participates in a small but fundamental part of the blend composition. The La Braccesca winery covers a total area of 508 hectares, divided into two production poles: the historic one located in the Montepulciano area and the more modern one situated at the foot of the Cortona hills. From the former comes this Nobile di Montepulciano, full of all the character of the territory, which outlines very well the profile not only of the grapes but also of the resulting wine.

The red Nobile di Montepulciano La Braccesca is obtained from 90% Sangiovese and the remaining 10% Merlot. The grapes are harvested at their full ripeness, which can occur at different times for the two varieties. A maceration of the must on the skins precedes the winemaking, which consists of an initial phase of alcoholic fermentation in steel containers and a subsequent malolactic fermentation that takes place inside large barrels. In these, the formed wine begins the maturation phase, which lasts about 12 months. Once bottled, it awaits another year of refinement in the bottle.

The Braccesca Nobile di Montepulciano presents an intense ruby red color. A multifaceted bouquet opens with hints of red fruit, violet, and tobacco, set against a spicy background. On the palate, it corresponds to the aromatic profile already perceived on the nose, with notes of currant, blackberry, and cherry. A soft body balances the well-managed sensitive tannic component, resulting in a velvety sip. A version of Sangiovese that will persuade all palates.
