The Nuits Saint Georges "Aux Chaignots" by Alain Michelot is a refined and noble Pinot Noir from Burgundy that is aged for 18 months in oak barrels. On the nose, it releases intense notes of berries, orange peel, dried plum, sweet spices, toasted memories, and hints of nutmeg. On the palate, it has body, class, and the typical personality of Burgundy, with a well-polished tannin and an appreciable freshness.
