"Paduletti" is a subtle white wine blended from three grape varieties grown on predominantly clayey soils. A youthful profile for a liquid with aromatic memories that particularly excels in floral and fruity aromas. The savoriness is the main component for a fresh and delicate sip

The “Paduletti” is a wine from the Ligurian winery Giacomelli, produced in the fascinating territory of Colli di Luni with the classic white grape varieties grown in the Levante Ligure Riviera: Vermentino, Trebbiano Toscano, and Malvasia aromatica di Candia. It is a fresh, floral, and fruity white that expresses the sunny and marine characteristics of its origin very well and is particularly suitable for pairing with traditional seafood dishes of Ligurian cuisine.

The Giacomelli “Paduletti” is a white wine with a typically territorial face, aiming to express the best of the ancient tradition of the land of Colli di Luni, enhancing the varieties historically present in the region and the peculiar characteristics of this small hilly area overlooking the sea and nestled between Liguria and Tuscany. The estate has about a dozen hectares of vineyards in the Castelnuovo di Magra area, where the grape varieties that have always been present have been carefully preserved, with a precious heritage of old Vermentino vines in the Boboli cru. The wine is produced with grapes cultivated in the locality of Paduletti from a vineyard of about one and a half hectares, planted with Vermentino, Trebbiano Toscano, and Malvasia aromatica di Candia, on predominantly clayey soils rich in skeleton. In the countryside, no herbicides are used, all inter-rows are grassed, and only sulfur and copper are used against downy mildew and powdery mildew. The installations of the white grape varieties are managed using the Guyot method with a density of 5000 plants per hectare. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 16 °C. The wine matures in steel for 4 months before bottling.

The wine “Paduletti” is a perfect bottle for those who want to know the truest and most genuine character of the whites from the Ligurian Levante. The great attention to work in the vineyard and the strong connection with the traditions of the territory are indeed the distinctive traits of the Giacomelli winery and its wines. The color is straw yellow with bright greenish reflections. The aromas of the bouquet express notes of white flowers, fruity aromas, delicate nuances aromatic and iodized sensations. The sip is clear and lively, fragrant and savory, with a harmonious and pleasantly fresh finish.
