The Petit Verdot from Casale del Giglio is a Lazio-style version of this Bordeaux-origin grape. A wide and intriguing olfactory bouquet played on berries, sour cherry in spirits, and sweet spices, including prominent pepper and licorice. It concludes with a medium-structured sip, with a drying tannin and a smoky finish.
