The Picolit by Dario Coos is a passito wine, whose grapes grow on "ponca" Friulian soils and are left to dry on racks, as tradition dictates. It undergoes alcoholic fermentation in barriques, where it rests for the aging phase for a whole year, subsequently perfecting in the bottle. The notes of honey and canned apricot give way to a seductive minerality and hints of incense, with a persistent sip, particularly full and fragrant.
