Pinot Gris 'Sophie' Schaal 2024

Sophie Schaal's Pinot Gris is an intense and enveloping wine, produced from grapes that grow on the clay soils of the Upper Rhine. The fermentation in oak barrels helps to add complexity and softness. On the nose, it is fresh with fragrant hints of freshly picked fruit and spicy notes of cloves and cinnamon. On the palate, it is full and velvety, harmonious with a long and persistent finish. Excellent paired with structured white meats such as roast pork in stewed pear sauce.
