"Pipirii" is a delicate but complex white wine produced in the province of Arezzo at the Tanganelli winery. After an alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts, this blend of Trebbiano and Malvasia is then left to mature in steel on fine lees for 7 months. It fills the golden glass with fresh aromas of wildflowers, hay, and elderflower.

Carlo Tanganelli ‘Pipirii’ is a blend of Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Lunga that delights the senses with its floral and graceful aromatic profile. The Tanganelli winery is located within the municipality of Castiglion Fiorentino, in the province of Arezzo, where Marco, Carlo's son, manages about ten hectares of vineyards, nurturing the noble peasant tradition of the family. In fact, the Tanganelli family has always been dedicated to viticulture, but it was only with Carlo, at the end of the 1990s, that production shifted from being primarily for self-consumption to being directed towards the market. However, the factors underlying the production philosophy have remained unchanged: vineyards managed organically, cultivation almost exclusively reserved for indigenous varieties, and minimal enological intervention.

The Tuscan white ‘Pipirii’ by Tanganelli is crafted from a blend of Trebbiano Toscano and Malvasia Lunga, grown in sandy and clayey soils according to the principles of organic agriculture. In the winery, alcoholic fermentation occurs spontaneously and the wine is then aged for 7 months on the fine lees in steel tanks. Throughout the entire processing, the mass undergoes no clarification or filtration.

Fascinating is the straw-yellow color with golden reflections of the Tanganelli 'Pipirii'. The nose opens up to delicate aromas of wildflowers, elderflower, and hay, accompanied by deep mineral sensations. Smooth and at the same time complex is the sip, tempered by a sharp freshness and a pleasant savory trail. An artisanal interpretation that shines with its own light, to be enjoyed with well-aged cheeses or with moderately structured first courses.
