Borgo Conventi's Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso is an intense wine from the Isonzo region, produced from an indigenous vine with great character. High temperature maceration allows great extraction of colour and aromas of black fruit, which dominate the nose together with hints of violets. Lively and consistent, the sip reveals a clear balance between fruit and structure. Ideal to accompany savoury meats such as lamb, but also blue cheeses
