The Ribeiro 'Arraiano Tinto' from Cume do Avia winery is a Spanish red wine, made in Galicia from indigenous grapes. The perfect snack wine, fresh and crisp, full of fruit and very juicy, to be served chilled to accompany a cheese and charcuterie board!

The artisanal winemaking reality Cume do Avia introduces the Ribeiro ‘Arraiano Tinto’, a red wine with a juicy and mineral soul that originates in Galicia, in a winemaking area with a millenary tradition. At the heart of the Cume do Avia project is the desire of cousins Diego Diéguez, Alvaro Diéguez, Fito Collarte, and Anxo Collarte to enhance the extraordinary enological heritage of the Ribeiro area, composed of dedicated lands and a rich varietal platform. Although the area is more renowned for white wines, the Diéguez and Collarte cousins have skillfully demonstrated the enological potential of the denomination for reds as well, as evidenced by the Ribeiro ‘Arraiano Tinto’.

Cume do Avia Ribeiro ‘Arraiano Tinto’ consists of a blend of local varieties Brancellao, Souson, Caiño, and Mouraton, cultivated according to the principles of organic farming integrated with the use of biodynamic preparations. The plants rest on predominantly sandy and chalky soils, situated at an altitude between between 250 and 390 meters above sea level. When the grapes have reached the ideal stage of ripeness, manual harvesting takes place, followed by spontaneous alcoholic fermentation of the must in stainless steel tanks in contact with the skins. Still in stainless steel, the wine continues its journey, maturing for about 6 months before the final bottling.

In appearance, the Ribeiro ‘Arraiano Tinto’ from the Cume do Avia estate has a brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, perceptions of berries, cherry, and pomegranate emerge, blending with floral hints and fresh mineral and aromatic herb notes. Rich and fruity taste, juicy and smooth, with lively freshness and fine tannic structure. The finish lingers on pleasant mineral sensations.
