Damjan Podversic's "Selezione" is a true monument of Collio made from a careful selection of the best botrytized bunches of Ribolla Gialla. It remains to macerate on the skins in oak vats for 60-90 days and ages in old barrels for at least 6 years. An intense cyclone rich in aromas invades the nose, in which some aromas of saffron, dried fruit, sweet spices, citrus peel, resin, undergrowth and salted caramel emerge. On the palate it is overwhelming and arrembante for the material intensity, the pulpiness and the glycerine richness, almost chewable, fused with a pleasant dose of freshness, flavor and tannin
