San Michele Appiano “Fallwind” is a pure Riesling, a grape variety of German origin that has found in Alto Adige a second home. In need of particular environmental conditions, it prefers the cool and sunny climate, requirements present in the Monticolo area that give this label a special character. A white wine that stands out for its fruity, herbaceous, and citrus aromas and the mineral freshness that makes it an increasingly beloved champion. The harvest takes place in early October, and the grapes are harvested and selected by hand. The wine ferments in stainless steel containers and is then aged on fine lees for another 5 months.
