The Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg from the Domaine Bott Geyl winery is a fresh and refined French white wine capable of conquering all palates. It is made with grapes from the namesake Grand Cru, vinified with only indigenous yeasts and aged for a few months in steel tanks. The color is golden yellow with bright reflections reminiscent of acacia honey in the sun, while intense notes of ripe summer fruit are perceived on the nose. The taste is flavorful, full, soft, and has excellent length.

Domaine Bott-Geyl presents its Riesling Schlossberg Grand Cru, an exceptional Alsatian expression that stands out for energy, class and charm. Among all the areas in the world where it is cultivated, only in Alsace does Riesling manage to provide qualitatively comparable results to those of the not-so-far Moselle, the undisputed homeland of this grape variety. However, Alsatian Rieslings have their own clear identity, sunnier and more concentrated, distinctly distinguishable from the German one. The Schlossberg climat, covering 80 hectares, was the first Grand Cru vineyard in the Region and is particularly suited for the cultivation of this Rhine-origin variety.

The Riesling Grand Cru Schlossberg from Domaine Bott-Geyl comes from the homonymous vineyard worked in purity and grown according to organic and biodynamic practices. The soils, characterized by very steep slopes, are composed of crystalline granite minerals, with sandstone and schist. Following the manual harvest, soft pressing takes place and then spontaneous alcoholic fermentation in tanks of steel, where the mass also rests for subsequent maturation. Once in the bottle, the wine rests at controlled temperature for a period ranging from a few months to a few years.

In the glass, the Alsatian Riesling Domaine Bott-Geyl Schlossberg Grand Cru reveals a beautiful golden yellow color with bright reflections. Intense and sweet, the bouquet features notes of ripe summer fruit alternating with hints of hydrocarbons and honey. The enveloping sip and excellent taste-olfactory correspondence stands out for its great balance between softness and freshness, as well as for its delicate sapidity. A balanced white of remarkable longevity that pairs well with rich and succulent dishes from the East.
