The Riesling by Massolino is a Piedmontese white wine made from grapes grown in the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, at an altitude of 600 meters. It ages exclusively in steel, for 8 months on the lees, and expresses a varietal and elegant sensory profile, with aromas of green apple, lemon peel, and typical mineral and hydrocarbon notes. On the palate, it is clean and vertical, with great freshness and savoriness, and a fruity aromatic and persistent finish.

The Riesling from the Massolino winery is an expressive, elegant, and mineral white wine produced in Serralunga d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont. This label is made from pure Riesling grapes sourced from vineyards located at about 600 meters above sea level. The vines are cultivated using traditional trellising methods with guyot pruning on soils of Swiss origin characterized by calcareous marl. The winery is a historic family-run establishment, owning about 25 hectares of vineyards, now led by brothers Franco and Roberto Massolino, who in their work condense the experience of an entire generation and the ambition of those who know they must honor a historic winery and a unique terroir like that of Langa.

The Riesling from Massolino is produced with carefully selected grapes that are hand-picked slightly earlier than their full ripeness. The bunches, brought to the winery, are destemmed and subjected to soft pressing before undergoing alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures in stainless steel containers for a few weeks. The wine then undergoes racking and clarification, after which it remains in aging for at least 10 months on its fine lees in stainless steel containers before bottling for future marketing.

The Riesling from Massolino appears visually as a delicate and bright straw-yellow color. On the nose, intense aromas of crunchy fruit, yellow-fleshed fruit, and citrus emerge, including green apple, peach, and lemon zest, along with floral notes of fresh white flowers, finishing with mineral and hydrocarbon notes. On the palate, it is clean, vertical, broad, and fragrant, characterized by a pronounced freshness and minerality and a long and persistent finish played on fruity notes. This Riesling from the Massolino winery fully respects the characteristics of the varietal and expresses itself with great elegance, refinement, and clarity of aromas.
