The Mosel Kabinett “Graacher Himmelreich” J.J. Prum is a Riesling produced by one of the most historic and prestigious names in the Mosel region. The Prum family has been cultivating the vine for over four centuries and still today produces wines unanimously recognized among the best excellences of the Mosel. Its Rieslings are the result of a deep knowledge of the territory and the characteristics of the grape variety. The meticulous care of the vineyards, the separate vinifications for individual parcels, the selection of the best bunches, and the choice of harvest times almost at the limit of overripeness allow for the bringing into the cellar of grapes of extraordinary richness, which then reflect in wines with a marked varietal personality and a character faithfully territorial.
The Riesling Mosel Kabinett “Graacher Himmelreich” J.J. Prum is born from fermentation in steel at low temperature and with indigenous yeasts from the grapes of a single vineyard. Before being bottled, the wine matures for a few months in stainless steel tanks. In the glass, it presents a bright light golden color. The bouquet is of great finesse and elegance, with aromas of citrus, ripe white fruit, spicy nuances, and hints of flint. On the palate, it has good structure, with a generous fruit center and complex aromas, announcing a persistent finish, supported by a vibrant mineral freshness.
