The Riesling Mosel Trocken “Fritz Willi” from Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier is a dry white produced by a historic winery in the city of Trier, made from grapes harvested in the Moselle. It is a lively and drinkableclass="NormalTextRun SCXW90440835 BCX0">, without compromising the more austere characteristics of Riesling. On the nose, there are hints of green apple and lemon, with vegetal and spicy notes on the finish that invite a sip. On the palate, it is intense, with great and typical freshness, a factor that helps to the longevity of these wines, very savory and mineral on the finish. Ideal to drink on a warm afternoon with some fish appetizers

The Riesling Mosel Trocken “Fritz Willi” by Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier is produced in Germany, in an area adjacent to the Moselle River that provides good hydration to the soil, resulting in wines of undisputed quality. The winery is the result of the union of three wineries with historical and ancient origins, dedicated to preserving the tradition regarding the production of Riesling in Moselle: the Bischöfliche Priesterseminar, the Bischöfliches Konvikt, and the Hohe Domkirche are, in fact, the ancestors of the current Weingüter Trier, which opened its doors in 1966 with about 50 hectares of land entirely planted with vines.

The grapes of the Riesling Mosel Trocken “Fritz Willi” by Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier grow in a predominantly continental climate, characterized by cold temperatures in winter and warm in summer, with excellent sun exposure, so that the grapes can fully ripen and be ready at the time of harvest. The soil is mainly composed of slate with some presence of clay, which together give the final product elegance and finesse. The vineyards are positioned on steep slopes, a characteristic that requires completely manual intervention, from the care of the plants to the harvest. In the winery, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel, where the wine then ages for a few months.

Visually, the Riesling Mosel Trocken “Fritz Willi” by Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier presents itself with a straw yellow color with intense reflections; on the nose it releases aromas of green apple, citrus fruits like lemon and freshly cut grass. On the palate, it is lively, easy-drinking, and elegant with good salinity on the finish. It is recommended to pair with grilled fish dishes, shellfish, mollusks, and sushi. An excellent product for romantic dinners in summer by the sea, sharing a product with traditional and genuine flavors, the result of a centuries-old historical tradition.
