The "Ronco Nolè" by Di Lenardo winery is an enveloping Friulian red wine with smooth and fullbodied profile. It smells of ripe red fruit, spices and black pepper with herbaceous details and releases a rich personality with a wide mouthfeel, enriched by a fine and mature tannic texture.

“Ronco Nolè” Di Lenardo is part of the production of this Friulian winery that has been able to cross national borders to expand significantly in foreign markets. This red is a perfect demonstration of the blend between indigenous and international grape varieties, a philosophy that underpins the choices of Massimo, now at the helm of the winery. Over the years, he has bet on the quality of the lands located between the inland and the sea, broadening the horizon both on the variety of wines and on the production itself. The attention to the environment is another cornerstone on which every decision revolves, so much so that since 2009 they have achieved autonomy in terms of electricity consumption thanks to photovoltaic panels.

Di Lenardo “Ronco Nolè” is a blend of red grapes. The grape harvest is done manually and then they are destemmed and pressed. The must is placed in steel tanks together with the skins, where fermentation takes place at a controlled temperature of 23°C, separately for each grape variety that will make up the “Ronco Nolè”. After aging, with frequent batonnage and always in contact with the yeasts until bottling, where it rests for at least another two months.

“Ronco Nolè” Di Lenardo shows visual intensity and depth with a bright ruby red. The aromas that come from the glass, once poured, have hints of ripe red fruit, penetrating in their roundness, balanced by more pungent notes of pepper and those herbal, humid, and subtle. All this unfolds in a background of spicy notes that frame and complete the bouquet. On the palate, this red is enveloping, deep, with a body supported by strong and balanced tannins. It definitely has a perfect quality-price ratio that few can achieve. Try it with meats, from the more delicate to game, but if you are really looking for the perfect pairing, this could be called Champignon mushroom.
