It is made from red grapes vinified in white and left to referment spontaneously on its own yeasts. The result is a young and summery bubble, very smooth and light, perfect with fried fish or summer cold dishes!
With its spontaneous and carefree spirit, the Sparkling Rosé on the Lees from the artisanal winery Alla Costiera in Veneto is able to relax the mind and body of those who taste it. This wine-growing reality operates in the Euganean Hills, respecting the plants, the soil, and the ecosystem in general, embracing a vision based on organic farming and the non-invasiveness of the winemaking process. At the helm of the estate is Filippo Gamba, a winemaker committed to enhancing the land where he grew up and where his parents passed down the winemaking craft to him. From these premises, a limited production of artisanal labels with a distinctive character is born.
The Sparkling Rosé on the Lees Alla Costiera comes from only red grapes grown in accordance with the principles of organic farming on hilly soils of limestone origin. Once the bunches reach maturity, they are hand-picked and then vinified in white through direct pressing and spontaneous alcoholic fermentation. The slight sparkling occurs in the bottle according to the Method Ancestral, thus bottling the must-wine not yet fully transformed so that the indigenous yeasts continue the metabolic process in glass with the residual sugars of the must. During vinification, the use of filtration operations is then excluded.
Alla Costiera Sparkling Rosé on the Lees has a peach color with a fine and persistent foam. The aromatic bouquet offers fragrant hints of strawberry, berries, and wildflowers that accompany pleasant winey notes of must and yeast. On the palate, the pronounced freshness and light body define a very smooth and convivial drink that rests on sensations of red fruits consistent with the olfactory profile.
